This exhibit lets visitors explore the way curves in a waterway make ob-jects move at different speed.
A river finds its way in the landscape with many bends and curves. The water speed at the section of a bend will vary greatly. Moving at slow speed in the inner curve and at high speed on the outer side. Different forms will react differently to this speed.
- Launch objects of different size, shape and weight into the river.
- Let them go at the same time.
- Which is the quickest? And why?
