This exhibit shows how a stroboscope can be used to make a moving object appear to be slow moving, or stationary.
When the stroboscope and the droplets are set in the synchronizing frequencies a drop of fluorescent water seems to stand still in the air. With the stroboscope you can study the form of the seemingly stationary drops of water. When the frequency of the stroboscope is higher than the frequency of falling water drops, the water drops seem to fall upwards.
