This exhibit shows the dynamics of a Tsunami.

 

Since December 2004 the idea of a Tsunami has become very real. A Tsunami is started by a large underseas landslide or earthquake, and can cause horrendous devastation. It is therefore important that we understand more about its origins, so that we can be more prepared next time a Tsunami occurs.
 

  1. Cause an underwater  earthquake by moving the handle.
  2. See the wave start.
  3. Notice its speed and potentially devastating effect on the small scale city.
