High quality interactive exhibits

This exhibit illustrates the phenomenon of resolution. Visitors are filmed by a camera. This little piece of film is repeated over and over again on the display. By turning a button the resolution of the film changes. On the one side of the spectrum the film is visible as big blocks. On the other side it’s visible as a normal film.
What is meant by the resolution of an image? Every digital image or film has a
specific resolution. This resolution is normally measured in pixels per inch. Images with a high resolution are sharper than images with a low resolution.
