This exhibit challenges the visitor to build a tall, rigid and stable structure.

 

In modern cities space is a precious commodity. To maximize the use of space, people have started building offices and apartments upwards, designing what we know today as skyscrapers. The construction of skyscrapers requires a skeleton of vertical columns and horizontal floors.
 

  1. Place a floor-piece.
  2. Insert the columns.
  3. Turn the wheel to raise the floor with the columns.
  4. Repeat the process to find out how high you can build the structure.
