In this exhibit Newton’s Second law of Motion is demonstrated. The  visitors will be able to observe how objects falling from different heights move with different speed.

Newton’s Second Law of Motion describes constant accelaration. Acceleration is a change in velocity (speed or direction). If something is traveling faster and faster, it is
accelerating. But, if it is standing still, or even traveling at a constant speed in the same direction, then we say it has zero acceleration.

  1. Place 3 balls at the starting point.
  2. Pull the lever down.
  3. Notice the difference in time it takes for the different balls to arrive to the end. (no measurement)
